Limina means thresholds - the places between one phase and the next.

Pregnancy, birth, postpartum, parenting, loss, and relationship or identity change are all transformative experiences for individuals, partners, and family systems. Our generational stories, trauma histories, social and cultural experiences, and personal goals shape how we navigate these thresholds. Though these experiences may be temporary, they profoundly transform the forward motion of our path. Life is full of these liminal spaces, calling us to do our inner work, and offering time to pause and fortify before moving forward.

I’m originally from Chicago and earned my Master’s in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago in 2012, with specializations in gender studies and public health. I have over 10 years of experience providing case management and clinical services within family systems, infant and early childhood mental healthcare, K-12 education, community health care, child protective services, and the field of perinatal mental health. I have completed training and national rostering in Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), the only clinical mental health modality that is evidence-based for the treatment of children under 6. I am trained and certified in the clinical treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs).

I am passionate about connecting clients to a felt sense of safety within themselves and their relationships and am an advocate of authenticity and justice at both the interpersonal and community levels.

Welcome to this work; it is an honor to hold your liminal space with you.
